About PentaCodes
A small Orlando-based shop that builds software the way it should be built—clear communication, no surprises, and code that lasts.
How We Got Here
PentaCodes started in 2018 when Adina Brown left a corporate dev role to do something different. The idea was simple: work with businesses that actually need custom software, not the ones that get sold on bloated projects they don't understand.
We're based in Orlando—specifically in the Bolton Bend area near Lake Nona. Most of our clients are in Central Florida, though we've worked with companies as far as Tampa and Jacksonville. Being local matters. When something breaks at 2pm on a Tuesday, we're a phone call away, not a ticket in a queue.
The Penta Approach
The name comes from our five core service areas: web development, mobile apps, custom software, e-commerce, and API integrations. We don't try to be everything. We focus on what we're good at and say no to the rest.
That focus keeps the team small and the quality high. No account managers, no salespeople pushing unnecessary add-ons. You talk to the people who build your software.
Who We Work With
We've built software for dental practices, food trucks, supply companies, real estate offices, and a handful of startups. The common thread: businesses that outgrew spreadsheets and needed something built for their specific workflow.
We're not the right fit for everyone. If you need a basic WordPress site, there are plenty of options. If you need enterprise-level consulting with 50-person teams, we're not that either. The sweet spot is the business that knows what they want but doesn't have in-house developers to build it.
Meet the Founder
Adina Brown
Owner & Lead Developer
Adina has been writing code professionally for over 12 years. Before starting PentaCodes, she worked as a senior developer at a fintech company in Tampa, building internal tools and customer-facing applications. She started the company to work directly with business owners who needed custom solutions without the corporate overhead.
When she's not coding, she's usually at one of Orlando's coffee shops or hiking the trails around Wekiwa Springs. You can reach her directly at [email protected].
